Reversible knitting pattern. The Wickerwork stitch would be great for scarves, blankets, and baby blankets!

Knitted in a multiple of 8 sts and a 12-row repeat.
Row 1: P1, * k2, p2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k2, p1.
Row 2: * K1, p1, RT, LT, p1, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 3: * P1, k1, p1, k2, p1, k1, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 4: * K1, RT, p2, LT, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 5: P2, * k4, p4; rep from * to last 6 sts, k4, p2.
Row 6: Knit
Row 7: P1, * k2, p2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k2, p1.
Row 8: * LT, p1, k2, p1, RT; rep from * to end.
Row 9: * K1, p1, k1, p2, k1, p1, k1; rep from * to end.
Row 10: * P1, LT, k2, RT, p1; rep from * to end.
Row 11: K2, * p4, k4: rep from * to last 6 sts, p4, k2.
Row 12: knit

Knitting abbreviations:
K: Knit | P: Purl
RT: Right Twist - Skip 1 stitch, knit the next stitch on the left needle in front loop, then purl the skipped stitch, slip both stitches from the needle together.
LT: Left twist - skip 1 stitch, purl the next stitch on the left needle in back loop, then knit the skipped stitch in front loop, slip both stitches from the needle together.
