Bowknot stitch. Very cute and easy - Free stitch pattern
Bowknot stitch: insert needle into front of next stitch 9 rows below, and draw up a loop; slip this loop onto left-hand needle and knit it together with the next stitch through the back loop.
Knitted in a multiple of 18 sts, + 9 and 20-row repeat.
Row 1 - RS: * K9, p9; rep from * to last 9 sts, k9.
Row 2: * P9, k9; rep from * to last 9 sts, p9.
Row 3: Knit.
Row 4: Purl.
Row 5: Knit.
Row 6: Purl.
Row 7: * K9, p9; rep from * to last 9 sts, k9.
Row 8: * P9, k9; rep from * to last 9 sts, p9.
Row 9: * K13, bowknot, k4; rep from * to last 9 sts, k9.
Row 10: Purl.
Row 11: * P9, k9; rep from * to last 9 sts, p9.
Row 12: * K9, p9; rep from * to last 9 sts, k9.
Row 13: Knit.
Row 14: Purl.
Row 15: Knit.
Row 16: Purl.
