Trellis stitch is an 8 row repeat and is knitted in a multiple of 6 sts +3.

Row 1 and all wrong side rows: Purl all sts.
Row 2 (Right side): K2, * sl 5 wyif, k1; repeat from * to last st, k1.
Row 4: K4, * k1 uls, k5; repeat from * to last 5 sts, k1 uls, k4.

Embroidery stitch is an 8 row repeat and is knitted in a multiple of 8 stitches plus 4.

Row 1: K4, * k2tog, ssk, k4; repeat from * to end.
Row 2 and all wrong side rows: Purl all stitches.
Row 3: K4, * k1long, k2, k1long (through the same space), k4; repeat from * to end.
Row 5: K2tog, ssk, * k4, k2tog, ssk; repeat from * to end.
Row 7: K1long, k2, k1long (through the same space), * k4, k1long, k2, k1long (through the same space); repeat from * to end.
Row 8: Purl all stitches.
